One of the stages in David Landis' drawing.

As you may remember from a while back, we here at Zelda Universe covered Hyrule’s Most Wanted. One of the artists from that series, David Landis, is back with something rather intriguing for you and your desktop!

David Landis is the artist who drew the “Ball and Chain Trooper” for IGN’s Hyrule’s Most Wanted and he has decided to take his drawing to the next level. He has taken it and turned it into one of his ‘Desktop Gremlins’. These interesting little creations are designed to spruce up even the most dreary looking of desks. The idea is that you go over to his website, Desktop Gremlins, and simply download and print the .pdf file for free. After that, simply follow the instructions and you will be able to create anything that he has available!

More after the jump!

Here is a direct link to the Ball and Chain Trooper.

As if this isn’t enough, David Landis has also published the original concept art for his Ball and Chain Trooper drawing. As well as all of the stages that he went through to get to his final piece. It is a very interesting read as he talks about the different effects that he used to try and create the tension and claustrophobic feeling that his drawing has.

So will you be creating your very own Desktop Gremlin? If so, tell us how it went in the comments below!
