It seems only yesterday that Pong was released.

Do your part and vote for your favorite games for the Smithsonian’s Art of Video Games exhibit set to run March 16 though September 30, 2012. All you need to do to sign up is have a valid e-mail address.

The Art of Video Games exhibition will explore the 40-year evolution of video games as an artistic medium, with a focus on striking visual effects, the creative use of new technologies, and the most influential artists and designers. We want you to help us select the eighty video games that will be represented in the exhibition. Remember, this is an art exhibition, so be sure to vote for games that you think are visually spectacular or boast innovative design!

We have organized the games into five eras, twenty gaming systems, and four genres. Simply select an era to begin and then navigate through the different systems and genres. You do not have to vote for every game on every system, and you can return to the website multiple times in order to complete your vote. You cannot change an individual vote once you have selected it so choose carefully. And of course have fun!

    MM good 😀

  • I went for the animation Skyward Sword will use, because it's the most lifelike and gorgeous in appearance to me.

    MM for N64

And people here will rage at me for this but for the Gamecube it's going to Metroid Prime 2 and for the Wii it will either be TP or Monster Hunter Tri
