Redundant? We don't think so!

With the huge success that was Zeldathon fading into the background, another team of Zelda fans hopes you’l help them raise money for a different charity. This group of Zelda fans are marathon-ing in an effort to raise money for Act Today, a charity for autism care and treatment.

The Nerd Gamers will be broadcasting their Zelda marathon from their site beginning this Sunday, July 11th, at 6pm Pacific Time. They will begin with The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and will continue on with Twilight Princess, Wind Waker, Majora’s Mask, Minish Cap, Phantom Hourglass, and Ocarina of Time. There will be commentators and chat throughout.

Please spread the word and stop in at their site to donate if you can, or at least to chat and cheer them on!

The event ends Wednesday, July 14, at 6pm. We hope to see you there!

I hate that all – now using this as example – charity gaming events give their money to things like Autism. They don't need money really, it just enhances their lives somebit.

Instead, I would maybe even donate if they would send them to Bangladesh or Philiphines.

You don't know how those people are going to spend that money. People from Bangladesh may buy weapons with it and kill soldiers. Philippines, well they can use it, but autistic people really need it too, and maybe they can't send it everywhere in the world.

Wow. This really means alot. Firstly because my brother is severly autistic, and secondly because I love Zelda 😀
