Go for the gold(en Triumph Forks)!

E3 is in less than two days!

And what’s Zelda-related and arguably more important than E3? Zeldathon 2010, of course!

In order to fundraise for the American Cancer Society, 15 Zelda fans will be playing Zelda non-stop for 72 hours straight!

Come watch their live streaming cams on their site as they raise money for a great cause. There are giveaways and prizes to be had, and you can donate as much or as little as you like. If you cannot donate, please do tweet and Facebook post it to get the word out.

The fun begins this Saturday, June 19th starting at 4:00pm Eastern and continues on for 72 hours straight!

Check our their site for more details and their trailer after the jump.

Dudes! Lucky y’all. I wish I could play Zelda three days straight, not needing sleep. Ah well, I’m still happy for those who get to be apart of this and am delighted to hear that this is for a great cause.

E3 is less that 48 hours! Let the ecstasy spill over the brim!

I did that once. You won't belive how much coffee and soda (different kinds) I went throught.

I think the longest I've stayed up was almost 21 or 22 hours, never had a reason to stay up for more than that. but of course Zelda would be worth the sleeplessness.

hey, anybody know why G4 is showing E3 stuff tomorrow? I thought it wasn't supposed to start until Tuesday, but it says that the Ubisoft and EA stuff is tomorrow? What the hell?

Well, I could try that, but I always take my time with Zelda games. My stamina an ability to solve puzzles and such can only last a a few hours. I can play for about four hours straight, take a rest, then pick it up again. From the fifth, maybe sixth hour onward, I would be as good at playing any Zelda game as looking to a blank wall.
