If you’ve checked the front page of ZREO’s website, you might have caught the fantastic teaser-trailer that sheds light on ZREO’s most secretive project to date, Twilight Symphony. Previously known as Project Maranello, Twilight Symphony has been occupying a huge portion of the ZREO team’s time for the last year.

Teaser-trailer after the jump.

(Fun fact, by the way: The trailer features a full rendering of Twilight Princess’s Hyrule by ZREO’s own FireGS. Yes, he modeled all of Hyrule.)
  • Wow truly stunning. I was never one for Zreo but after hearing this I'm in love with it and cannot wait for it to come out. I would like to be able to do something like this in the future.

  • Absolutely amazing.

ZREO has once again made me feel like a fat kid in a candy store. Oh my, I cannot wait.

sweet! I wish the actual games looked and sounded like that……….why, why don't they? why doesn't Nintendo just hire these people? their work is kinda a million times better, isn't it?

so, is ZREO making a series of songs, or visuals to go along with themas well? I thought they only did music….

    • Hálvðanarson

But do you think they can make the actual music themself? They're only making orchestra versions of songs made by Koji Kondo. And one have to say his work has been truly stunning on both Super Mario Galaxy games.

Just wait and see, I think the music on the new Zelda game will be a lot better than it has been before.

How awesome would it be to actually recreate Hyrule in real life?

  • ZoraMikau

ZREO is going to do this well, and they'll have another great addition to the ZREO archives. What happened to their battlescape project, anyone know?

    • Battlescapes is currently on hold while we work on TPS.

ZREO has really grown since they started. <3

Wow, this is cool. I really liked the music from Twilight Princess, so this is going to be good.

those pictures are what i wish zelda would really look like

First of all… when is the eta of this? I loved the Orchestrated version of Ocarina of Time…. i am definitely excited for this. Second of all… @lifelongzelda fan… I am with you bro. I'm highly disappointed int eh route that was taken from Skyward Sword. It's a typical disappointing Nintendo move… I've grown to be accustomed to those sorts of things. Even TP, as amazing as it was was a day late and a dollar short. I sure hope they are already working of a more realistic and grittier Zelda for the new console.

There is no ETA for Twilight Symphony. They just keep piling on the hype, in all likelihood, this will not be free like the rest of their work.

Instead you will be required to pay, for all their “time” and effort.

I seem to remember reading a few months back when they had reached their Kickstarter goal, that they hoped to have the choir recorded and the project available this summer.

Now they are saying they want even more money, in order to do it. And the date is tentatively set for December of this year.

Read that. Tentatively. There is no fixed date, by the way they talk, this is going to run over into 2012.

Either they are just scamming everyone out of their money. Or more likely they just keep trying to outdo themselves, with the end result being that Twilight Symphony is never going to get finished.
