We are pleased to let you know we’ve got an exclusive announcement to make. We partnered up with First4Figures to show you their newest statue in their Ocarina of Time/Majora’s Mask-line! Curious already?

First4Figures is the company that’s been creating officially licensed, handmade and hand-painted Nintendo-statues for years. Their most popular series is without a doubt their Ocarina of Time/Majora’s Mask-line with a current line-up of Ocarina of Time Link, Goron Tunic Link, Zora Tunic Link, Sheik, Skull Kid and Fierce Deity Link. All of these statues are limited up to 2500 pieces worldwide (Goron Tunic Link and Zora Tunic Link are limited to 1250 pieces worldwide) and cost about $109.99, excluding shipment-costs. Mind you: most of them are already sold out. Next to The Legend of Zelda-series, F4F also creates statues for the Metroid-series and the Sonic-series.

A few months ago, First4Figures announced their The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess-line, with Zant being the first statue on a 1/4th scale. We were able to tell you this exclusive news on the 11th of September, 2009. The price of this statue is around $329.99, excluding shipment-costs, but it’s also limited up to 750 pieces worldwide. You can still order it on the official website of First4Figures. Other 1/4th scale-statues in the Twilight Princess-line will be Ganondorf and Wolf Link & Midna.

Now, about seven months later, we are pleased to announce, in collaboration with Wii-DS.nl and First4Figures, a new statue in the  Ocarina of Time/Majora’s Mask-line:

Darunia-statue

The first info:

[*]Darunia is the big boss of the Gorons from Ocarina of Time. His statue will be about 15 inch tall from his feet to the top of his hair. Other than that, he’ll be about 9 inch wide.
[*]The statue of Darunia is based on the following piece of artwork and will therefore look very similar:

Upcoming Tuesday, First4Figures will show more images of the statue. They will also announce the quantity and price. Stay tuned on ZU for this info!

Man, with prices like that, I'll just grab my brothers Play-Doh and try to make something myself.

Whoa…I don't remember Darunia showing that much brawn in the game. That's pretty cool, still. 😉 I hope they make all Gorons as muscular as he is.

(I didn't say he wasn't that brawny in the game either.)

  • HyruleMonk

Firsties? Really? Anyway, I have to agree. They do run too expensive for my paycheck. Nonetheless excited about the Goron!

  • It's just a way the newsitem is written, to show how long ago it was.

If you think it's to annoy people who are traumatized with 11th of september 2001, think again.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's around $130. They're staying in the same scale, and he's pretty big.

Sounds interesting! I just wish they wouldn't make a limited number of each statue.

Other than Zant, these pieces really aren't that limited. Most of them are still available and they've been out for quite some time. For the ones that have sold out, just keep an eye out in the aftermarket or on statue boards because they do pop up occasionally.

The prices aren't THAT bad except for Zant. He is a tad over priced. Something in the $200 range would of been more realistic (mid-upper). I would of loved if they had 1/4 link in the works (human form) but it looks like their going with the wolf form. Oh well. I'm pretty excited to see how Ganondorf turns out. Not looking forward to seeing how much he costs though.
