At a recent Camp Hyrule chat session, George Harrison (not the Beatle, but an exec at Nintendo) finally confirmed something about the Wii version of Twilight Princess. It’s small, but still news worthy.

One of the main things about Camp Hyrule is sometimes news can randomly pop out of the chat sessions with Nintendo people. Well, one such story popped from this year’s sessions.

George Harrison, Nintendo’s senior vice president of marketing and corporate communications, announced in chat session earlier yesterday that the version of Twilight Princess for the Wii will be Wii-mote only. Those who were holding on hope for the game to be compatible for your Gamecube controller, well, your hope has been debunked.

Unfortunately, I was working the whole week, so I have missed most of this years Camp Hyrule. I will try to get into the closing ceremonies tomorrow to see if anything else pops up. Until then, that’s all I have.
